The Dodge Viper has been a favorite among American car enthusiasts ever since the car was introduced during the early 1990’s. After being under the SRT brand name for some reason when it was introduced, the most recent Viper has not been any exception to this. Although it has been slightly over shadowed by the Hellcats recently, the newest Viper has reached almost a new height in its popularity. Dodge has embraced this popularity, and has created an online Viper customization tool.

ResCars’s Custom Viper. This Viper has a Custom Stryer Orange Metallic Paint, an SRT Hood, Carbon Fiber Rear Applique, Carbon Fiber Stripe paint, Rattler Black Vapor Wheels, Pirelli P Zero Corsa High Performance Tires, Black Brembo Calipers with Orange writing that are all part of the Time Attack 1.0 Package.
The Dodge Viper GTC Customizer, launched by Dodge yesterday, allows consumers and dreamers alike to create their own, one of the kind Vipers. The customizer is, for the lack of a better term, extensive. Among the options are 8,000 exterior colors, 24,000 custom stripes colors, 11 wheel options, 16 interior trims, seven aero packages including the Time Attack packages, three brake packages, four suspension options, as well as a host of standalone options. Dodge says that all of this adds up to more than 25 million build combinations for the Vipers. The entire customizer is set up as a virtual design studio that will let the users see their Viper from multiple angles, as well as “sitting” in their virtual Viper.
Once users are happy with their designs, they can either place their order for their one of a kind Viper, or those who are not financially blessed can download all of the specs and images of their dream Viper so that they can share it with friends and family. Dodge has announced that they will start production on the custom Vipers in later this month. The prices for these custom Vipers will start at around $95,000 and will increase depending on the options selected. Those who order their custom Viper have the option of receiving an 1:18 scale model so they can confirm their color choice. If you want to create your own Viper, head over to www.driveSRT.com/Viper.
