Get ready for more behind-the-scenes action from the top level of motorsport as Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 2 comes to Netflix on February 28th, 2020.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 2 is a Netflix exclusive, and follows the 2019 Formula One World Championship over the course of the season, with access to all the teams and drivers.
The series has been well received by critics and viewers. In fact it’s been so popular than both Scuderia Ferrari and Mercedes-AMG have allowed Netflix access, after declining to be part of Season 1.
Expect plenty of action from the likes of Haas team principal Gunter Steiner, and from the episode looking at Mercedes, which ironically took place at the German F1 GP round – which didn’t really go to plan for the Silver Arrows.
Drive to Survive is executive-produced by Academy-Award winner James Gay Rees (Senna, Amy) and Paul Martin (Diego Maradona) for Box to Box films.
It’s worth checking out as a motorsport fan. But the focus on the human drama behind the scenes can also be a way to encourage new interest in the sport from anyone not convinced by the magic of watching cars go round and round in circles for hours.
Incidentally, if the Netflix coverage isn’t enough for you, there’s also the Formula 2: Chasing The Dream series from Formula 1, which is available from the F1 website.
That should be enough motorsport documentary action to keep us all busy and intrigued until the drama of the F1 2020 season gets properly under way.
