Most car fans have heard of the Nurburgring Nordschleife and plan to either visit or return there one day. But you can’t guarantee the weather will be kind. And there are plenty of us with front-wheel drive cars, which aren’t the most common stars of fast laps around the track.
So for those unafraid of the damp, or owners of FWD cars who fancy a guided tour of the Nurburgring, check out this video.
If you’re wondering why it’s worth paying attention to the driver, the chap in question is a former colleague and friend of Rescars, Dale Lomas. In addition to being employed as a RingTaxi driver, and running the popular BridgetoGantry site for all things Nurburbring related, he’s completed thousands of laps including racing. Including racing in the N24 race earlier this year. We can’t remember if he was driving for this video, or it was a team-mate.
Which reminds us to ask Dale for an interview at some point to find out how he ended up with such an enviable job.
