Lamborghini Aventador SV’s Super Impressive Nürburgring Lap Time

Lamborghini have made SV or Superveloce versions of the last couple of their crazy V10 and V12 powered monsters.  The Aventador is no exception to this.  The Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce made its public debut at the 85th Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.  The 740 bhp crazy train is more powerful and lighter than the original Aventador model.  While testing new, developmental Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres, the Aventador SV does a sub-seven minute lap time around the Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit.  Granted, it was a lap time of 6:59:73, but its still under seven minutes.

There are some questions about whether or not the Lambo in this video is the actual Aventador SV production model.  This lap time, if it was a production Aventador SV, is the fourth fastest production car lapt time.  This puts the Aventador SV in the same class as hyper-cars like the Porsche 919, which is only 2 seconds faster.
