Actor Idris Elba (The Wire, Luther, and numerous films) is a bit of a car fan, and as a result, has just made a two-part show with the BBC called ‘Idris Elba: King of Speed’.
It follows him finding out more about the car and racing scene, with the first hour covering the American side of things, including NASCAR and drag racing, followed by a second hour in Europe, mainly focusing on rally driving in the UK and Finland.
The first show was pretty good, but the second is potentially even better – driving with the likes of Paddy Hopkirk, David Llewellyn, Louise Cook, plus Max and father Ari Vatanen. And drifting with Stephen Biagioni and Keiichi Tsuchiya.
