We previously featured a wet lap of the Nurburgring Nordschliefe by our BridgetoGantry running friend Dale. In addition to having a dream job terrifying passengers around the legendary German track, he also manages to get himself into a variety of race cars.
This weekend he’s been at the 24 Hours of Zolder, and posted some great videos. First up is Spa-winning Marc VDS driver Markus Palttala in the Skylimits/Yokohama BMW 325i in qualifying. And it’s a very wet qualifying for the Finnish driver.
But a 24 hour endurance race involves more than one driver – and also racing in a variety of conditions. Including the night. So here’s Dale driving the last lap of the practice/qualifying at night. You can tell when he’s racing and concentrating because his Nordschliefe laps are generally fairly talkative!
If you’re feeling envious, we don’t blame you. Having known Dale for about 15 years, he’s definitely worked hard to get the opportunities he currently enjoys – and we’ll try and grab an interview with him sometime soon to get more details on how he ended up with a day job most car lovers envy.
