Since the 2015 Chicago Auto Show starts later this week, here is a breakdown of what you can to see from “The Big Three”: Chrysler, GM, and Ford.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles

The new Rebel’s new styling has removed the typical “cross-hair” design that have been around since the brand’s birth in 2009.
Most of the brands under Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) will make an appearance at Chicago Auto Show. Alfa Romeo will bring the updated 4C Coupe with them. Dodge will most of their line, featuring their new Charger and Challenger Hellcats. Jeep will also be bringing their updated line of SUV’s. Fait will bring their entire 500 line including “blue pill” 500X Crossover. Finally, Ram will bring all their trucks, and feature, coming off its introduction at NAIAS, the new Ram 1500 Rebel. What is interesting is that as of writing this article, there is only one announced reveal from FCA. Ram will be unveiling something at the show, but they are not sharing anything at this time. They have, however, invited everyone to view a live webcast of their unveil which, if you are interested, you can find here.
General Motors
Like FCA, you can expect the GM brands to bring their latest model to Chicago. Buick will be showing off their line, featuring the new Cascada and Avenir Concept that they unveiled at NAIAS. Cadillac will be showing off their ATS-V and CTS-V performance coupes and sedans with the rest of their line. GMC will be bringing most of their truck line. Chevrolet will feature their updated Cruze sedan, Trax crossover, and the Volt that Chevy unveiled at NAIAS. Chevy is also bringing their new, special edition Camaro Commemorative Edition that they revealed at SEMA last year, and their off-road focused Colorado ZR2 that they revealed at the LA Auto Show last year. GM is not showing its hand like FCA did and has made no announcements of what we can expect them to reveal at the show.
Ford Motor Company
Ford will also be bringing almost their entire vehicle line to Chicago. The updated versions of the Edge, Explorer, Fiesta, Flex, Fusion, and Mustang will be all be coming to the Chicago. Ford will also be featuring their all-new F-150, Focus, GT, and Shelby Mustang 350R that have been revealed over the last few weeks. Following the same thread, Lincoln will also be bring their entire production vehicle line, including the all-new MKX from the NAIAS. What is interesting is that, according to the Chicago Auto Show website, Ford will not be showing off their new Focus RS or the new Edge Sport that they unveiled last week. It would be a mistake from Ford if they didn’t bring the first Focus RS available in North America to the US’s biggest car show.
There you have it. The Chicago Auto Show will be full of American vehicles with the Big Three bringing most of their production vehicles. As far as announcement predictions go, it is hard to say what type of things these companies have up their proverbial shelves. I would imagine that the new Focus RS, and Edge Sport will be Ford’s headliners at the show since neither have not been to an auto show yet. As far as GM goes, it is hard to say. If GM was smart, they would put the body of the Buick Regal on the suspension and chassis of Cadillac’s CTS-V and sell it as the next-generation Regal GNX, but that seems unlikely. Ram’s announcement will probably focus on taking the design of the Rebel to the rest of the brand’s vehicles. We will have to wait for this Thursday, February 12, to see what these automakers have planned.
