The Toyota Supra has a long-running reputation for being one of the most modifiable cars on the market. I think the Liberty Walk Supra might just about live up to the reputation for being suitably mental.
This is without doubt the craziest A90 you’ll see, at least in terms of its appearance. I’m sure it won’t be too long before people are swapping engines and running 1000bhp like they have on its iconic ancestors.
It looks ready to jump straight in with the Audis and BMWs of the DTM Championship, doesn’t it? The bolt-on flared wheel arches and extended axles give the Supra a wide body stance and add to its road presence quite substantially. The borderline-excessive rear wing and diffuser combine with the racing front splitter to add to the aggressive appearance.
The bodykit can be made from two materials – full fibreglass or lighter carbon fibre reinforced plastic. The kit costs $17,930 (approx. £14k) if you opt for fibreglass. The CFRP kit is slightly more expensive at $19,030 (approx. £15k).
That’s a lot of money but it does look absolutely incredible and that’s coming from someone who isn’t normally a fan of kits like this. Bare in mind, though, that you don’t get any additional speed or power for your money and that cost is on top of the 55 grand you’ll have spent on your straight-six Supra.
Surprisingly, the Liberty Walk kit for the Toyota Supra isn’t exclusive to the Japanese and US markets as I had assumed it would be. Liberty Walk Europe are taking pre-orders now with deliveries expected to begin in August.
