Earlier this week, an Audi dealership did its best Corvette Museum impression as part of its showroom floor collapses into part of the garage below it. On Monday afternoon, the large 100ft by 65ft piece of the showroom floor brought 20 cars down into the garage with it. Lucky, when the floor started to collage, there was a “large bang” so the staff was able to notice it right away. They were able to contact Emergency Services nearly 20 minutes before the floor fell in.
There is no word on what caused the collapse of the floor at this time. Obviously, the dealership is closed until further notice until the cause can be determined and to make sure that the rest of the floor. The condition of the 20 fallen cars, or the unknown amount of vehicles in the garage has also not been released. The dealership said that they will be contacting the customers who were directly affected by the collapse. At least the cars are already in the garage so they can be fixed.
