It’s always exciting to see a new M Series launched by BMW, but we weren’t expecting the 2015 limited special edition BMW Cruise M-Bike.
It’s a tribute to the M Series cars with just 500 bicycles produced in the Austin Yellow Metallic of BMW M GmbH and featuring a special plaque and certificate.
The bicycle itself is lightweight with a Bullneck on the top tube of the frame, where it bends before meeting the headstock. The frame itself is hydro-formed aluminium, and the Cruise M-Bike also has plenty of carbon components, and along with adjustable handlebars it also features hydraulic Shimano disc brakes.
Apparently BMW has actually been creating bicycles from ore than 60 years. At the moment, you can buy the BMW Kids Bike and BMW Cruise Bike for children and teenagers, the All Mountain Bike for off-roading, the BMW Cruise Bike for urban cycling, and the BMW Trekking Bike for something in between. Plus a whole range of helmets, bicycle locks etc are also available at the BMW online shop, while the BMW Cruise M-Bike Limited Edition will be available at selected BMW retailers.
